2024 First Placement Results and Registration Requirements
2024 first placement results have been announced. Candidates who made a preference can get their placement result documents from appiso.firat.edu.tr.
Registration dates have been determined as August 7-29 for applicants from Turkey. Registration procedures will be carried out at the Registrar's Office. Acceptance letters will be sent to the e-mail addresses of our students who are eligible for placement. The registration deadline for international applicants is November 29, 2024.
REGISTRATION CONDITIONS
- Final registration will be made between 07/08/2024 - 29/08/2024.
- An invitation letter will be sent to the e-mail addresses of the candidates who are entitled to final registration.
- Students who will study at our university must obtain a student visa to enter the country if they do not have a residence permit. For a student visa, they can go to the Turkish Embassy / Consulate and apply with the acceptance letter issued by Fırat University.
- International Student Registration Form must be filled in completely and 1 copy must be printed out.(Form)
- Notification-Document of Notification Form (print out and fill in)
- Exam Result Certificate (The document must have a verification code or be approved by the institution where it was taken.)
- Placement Result Certificate
- Original high school diploma and its Turkish translation certified by a notary public or the Turkish Embassy/Consulate
- Original transcript and Turkish translation certified by a notary public or Turkish Embassy/Consulate
- Certificate of Equivalency (to be requested from Turkish nationals who graduated from high school abroad and those who graduated from international schools in Turkey)
- Passport and a copy of the passport in Turkish certified by a notary public or the Turkish Embassy/Consulate
- For those with Turkish citizenship, they will bring a photocopy of their birth certificate, and for those with Blue Card, they will bring the original and photocopy of their Blue Card.
- Dual nationals who are foreign nationals by birth and later become Turkish citizens will bring a Civil Registration Sample.
- The bank receipt showing that the tuition fee has been deposited in the relevant bank (Ziraat Bank) (DORM: TR69 0001 0015 6134 7427 3650 96
- Photograph (1 piece)
- General Health Insurance (GHI) Certificate (International students who have entered and will enter Turkey will be required to have General Health Insurance (GHI) from the Social Security Institution)
- Turkish Proficiency Certificate (TÖMER Certificate or Yunus Emre Institute Certificate obtained from our University) Those who do not have a Turkish Proficiency Certificate will take the Turkish Proficiency and Placement Exam to be held by the Turkish Language Teaching Application and Research Center of our University. Students who do not have Turkish proficiency will register at TÖMER).
Procedures to be done after registration:
- If it is determined that the candidate does not meet the application requirements during the application and/or registration and that the documents submitted are forged, his/her registration will be canceled and all student rights will be canceled.
- The residence permit to be obtained by applying to the Provincial Immigration Administration and the Foreign National ID number must be submitted to the Student Affairs Department. (Those who have a residence permit in Turkey will bring a "Certificate of Residence".
- Candidates who do not register on the specified dates will be deemed to have waived their registration rights.
