Applications for Yunus Emre Institute Turkish Proficiency Exam (TYS) Have Started!

Applications for the Turkish Proficiency Exam (TYS), which will be held simultaneously at Yunus Emre Institute’s international offices across different regions of the world and in Ankara and Istanbul in Turkey on May 4, 2025, will remain open until April 4, 2025.

The first internationally recognized Turkish language exam

TYS, a reliable and valid exam that assesses candidates’ Turkish reading, listening, writing, and speaking skills, has been approved by ALTE (The Association of Language Testers in Europe). Certified with ALTE’s quality mark (Q-Mark), TYS is the first Turkish language exam with international recognition.

Candidates who succeed in the exam are awarded the Turkish Proficiency Certificate at B2 and C1 levels based on their scores.

Application deadline: April 4, 2025
