The 2026 First Preference Period is now open. Candidates may submit their programme preferences through appiso.firat.edu.tr until 29 July 2026 at 11:59 p.m. (Türkiye time). Each candidate is entitled to select up to 10 programme preferences.

The minimum placement score for the Faculty of Medicine is 90. There is no minimum score requirement for any other programme.

Candidates who are placed in a programme as a result of their preferences are responsible for submitting all required registration documents and proving the authenticity of those documents during the registration process. Failure to provide the required documentation or evidence of its validity will result in the loss of any rights or claims related to registration.

Tuition Fees

Tuition fees for the 2026–2027 Academic Year have not yet been determined, as the Presidential Decree regarding Student Contribution Fees and Tuition Fees for Higher Education Institutions has not yet been published. The tuition fees will be announced once the decree is officially issued.

Important Notes:

• The English Language and Literature (English), English Language Teaching (English), and Software Engineering (English) (UOLP–Sam Houston State University) programmes are taught in English. Therefore, applicants must meet the English language proficiency requirement. Students who do not demonstrate the required level of English proficiency must complete the English Preparatory Programme before beginning their undergraduate studies.

• Students admitted to the Software Engineering (English) (UOLP–Sam Houston State University) programme will complete the first two years of their studies at Fırat University and the final two years at Sam Houston State University.
