Applications for the 2026 International Student Second Placement Period will be accepted online only between 27 July and 16 August 2026 via appiso.firat.edu.tr.
Applicants accessing the system for the first time must create an account. Those who have previously registered may log in using their existing accounts to submit their applications.
During this stage, only preliminary applications will be accepted. Programme selection (preferences) will take place between 21 and 27 August 2026. Therefore, applicants will not select a programme during the application stage. Programme preferences must be submitted during the designated Programme Selection Period.
Pursuant to the decision of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), candidates who enrolled in secondary education institutions in Türkiye and completed their high school education in Türkiye may be admitted to higher education institutions only through the Higher Education Institutions Examination (YKS). Candidates falling within this category cannot be admitted to higher education institutions under international or foreign student status.

Only diplomas issued by formal secondary education institutions (high schools or equivalent schools) are accepted. Diplomas obtained through open high schools or distance education institutions are not accepted.
Only applicants with a valid TR-YÖS score are eligible to apply for the Faculty of Medicine.

All applications are evaluated on a 100-point scale.
Applicants' examination and diploma scores are converted according to the score conversion system determined by the Fırat University International Student Application, Evaluation and Selection Commission.
The application fee must be paid online through the application system. No other payment methods will be accepted.
